Program Manager
Petroplan is looking for a Program Manager / Coordinator for a growing power generation and engineering organization based in Houston, TX.This position will support the Engineering Program leadership team and play a critical role in driving coordination, accountability, reporting, and execution across multiple engineering groups supporting large-scale power and infrastructure projects.The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, vocal, and confident - someone who is comfortable following up with cross-functional teams, driving updates, identifying risks, and helping ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Support the Head of Project Engineering and Engineering leadership team with program coordination activities across multiple engineering workstreams Obtain regular project updates from engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure schedules and deliverables stay on trackMaintain and update dashboards, reports, schedules, and project tracking toolsIdentify project risks, delays, and bottlenecks, escalating issues to leadership as needed Help drive accountability across teams while maintaining a collaborative and supportive approachCoordinate communication between engineering, procurement, operations, and other internal groupsAssist with meeting facilitation, action item tracking, and follow-up activitiesSupport continuous improvement initiatives, reporting processes, and operational workflowsEnsure visibility and transparency across engineering program activities and milestonesRequirements:5+ years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, project controls, engineering operations, or related functions Experience supporting engineering, industrial, manufacturing, power generation, EPC, mission-critical, or infrastructure projects preferredStrong communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to ask questions and enforce deadlinesHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Experience creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and tracking toolsStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPointExperience with project scheduling or reporting tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera, or similar is preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with evolving prioritiesPreferred:Experience supporting data center, power generation, industrial EPC, or mission-critical infrastructure projectsPMP, CAPM, Lean/Six Sigma, or related certifications are a plus
