Skilled - Team Lead 2nd Shift

Position Title: Team Lead - 2nd Shift Wage: $29.54/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:30pm - 10:00pm We are seeking a skilled Team Lead in Euless, TX to support daily operations in a fabrication and composites environment. This hands-on role is responsible for guiding operators, maintaining production flow, and performing technical machine setup and operation. This is a potential for hire position on 2nd shift! Position Overview: The Team Lead provides work direction within a shift or work cell, ensures safety and quality standards are met, and supports daily production requirements. Strong communication, machining experience, and a leadership mindset are essential for success in this role. Team Lead Responsibilities: Lead work activities for a shift or specific work cell Serve as a technical resource for operators Train and support less experienced team members Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards Complete accurate work order documentation Recommend process and workflow improvements Set up and operate equipment such as saws, manual mills, lathes, presses, routers, panel saws, and more Perform machining operations requiring tight tolerances Conduct in-process inspections Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 6S practices Requirements for Team Lead: Ability to work independently with minimal defects Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient with measurement tools Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs Willingness to work overtime as needed Technical degree with 2+ years of experience preferred Prior manufacturing experience strongly preferred Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment IND999 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
