Lead Database Migration Engineer (Oracle / Exadata / SQL Server)📍 Locations 3 days onsite : Irving, TX | Charlotte, NC | Iselin, NJ 💼 Type: Full-Time🕒 Experience: 8–12 YearsAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Lead Database Migration Engineer to drive end‑to‑end Oracle, Exadata, and SQL Server database migrations as part of large‑scale, wave‑based datacenter or platform migration programs in a regulated BFS environment.What You’ll DoLead migration strategy, planning, and wave sequencingPerform database discovery, dependency mapping, and readiness checksValidate source/target environments (Exadata, SQL Server VMs)Execute database migrations, replication, and cutovers using AMA or similar toolsCoordinate production cutovers and post‑migration validationSupport hypercare, stabilization, and source decommissioningCollaborate with application, infrastructure, storage, and network teamsEnsure compliance with governance, change, and audit standardsWhat We’re Looking For8+ years as an Enterprise DBAHands‑on experience with:Oracle 11g/12c/19c, including ExadataSQL Server 2016/2019/2022 on VM platformsStrong skills in:Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMANSQL Server Always On, backup/restore, replicationProven experience with production cutovers and large migration programsExposure to automation‑driven migrationsExperience in regulated BFS environmentsFamiliarity with ServiceNow, Jira, CMDB
