We're looking for someone who shares those values and wants to grow with a tight‐knit team.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Heavy Duty Tire Technician who is dependable, motivated, and able to work independently. This role involves mounting, dismounting, repairing, and maintaining heavy‐duty truck and trailer tires both in‐shop and occasionally in the field. A CLEAN DRIVER'S LICENSE IS A MUSTA positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesMount, dismount, balance, and repair heavy‐duty truck and trailer tiresInspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflationPerform roadside or on‐site service calls as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaAssist with shop tasks when needed (loading/unloading, inventory, etc.)Communicate clearly with customers and team membersFollow all safety procedures and company standardsRequirementsExperience with heavy‐duty or commercial tires preferred (will train the right person)Must be a self‐starter who can work with minimal supervisionStrong, positive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to lift 75+ lbs and work in a fast‐paced environmentValid driver's license with clean driving recordReliable, punctual, and customer‐focusedWhat We OfferFamily‐oriented work environmentCompetitive pay based on experienceOpportunity to grow with a trusted local businessSteady, year‐round workCompany DescriptionPalatka Truck Center is a small, family‐run heavy‐duty parts and tire shop that takes pride in honest work, reliable service, and treating customers like family.
