Photographer (equity-based role, tech startup, LA)

We’re looking for an experienced, self-sufficient photographer to execute high-volume outdoor product shoots across multiple retail locations in the Los Angeles area. THIS IS AN EQUITY-BASED ROLE.This role is ideal for someone who can own the full process — from planning and coordination to shooting and file delivery — with a strong eye for clean, consistent imagery.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute on-location photo shoots across multiple retail environmentsTravel to shoot locations (up to ~40 miles each way)Coordinate logistics independently, including scheduling and any necessary permissionsSource and manage a production assistant (as needed)Capture clean, consistent images of individual items in an outdoor retail settingShoot both:Full-frame vertical shots (entire subject in frame)Detail shots (texture, color, close-up features)Maintain consistent shooting style across large volumes of imagesAccurately name and organize files according to provided structureUpload and deliver final image setsRequirementsStrong experience in outdoor or on-location product photographyAbility to produce clean, clutter-free compositions in uncontrolled environmentsOwn professional-grade camera equipmentHighly organized with strong attention to detail (especially file naming and asset management)Self-directed and reliable — able to manage shoots independentlyComfortable handling logistics, communication, and coordination on your ownScopeA minimum of two photoshoots per month (~4-6 hours each) + post-production and final delivery completed within 1-2 weeksCompensationWe are offering a unique opportunity to be compensated in the form of company equity, with the potential for hourly compensation as the role evolves.How to ApplyEmail your portfolio and any relevant information to:EricF1618@gmail.comYou may also apply directly via LinkedIn if your portfolio is clearly linked in your profile.
