As a Job Captain, you will play a critical role in managing internal and external project teams while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Architectural Operations teams and may have opportunities to contribute to special initiatives and technology-driven improvements. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Design, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams Manage multiple project teams and outside consultants Support design initiative development, including new styles and options Contribute to technology discovery and implementation projects Share best practices, identify roadblocks, and drive continuous improvement Project Management & Quality Control: Lead projects including new construction documents, lot-specific plans, and revisions Manage multiple projects simultaneously Ensure compliance with construction codes and established standards Collect, interpret, and manage project-related data Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain workflow and quality benchmarks Exercise independent judgment in problem-solving and execution Leadership: Support business analysis efforts for senior leadership Assist in developing and governing standards and procedures Mentor team members and contribute to team growth What We're Looking For: Proven ability to manage cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills Clear, professional written and verbal communication Creative problem-solver who brings new ideas to existing frameworks Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or equivalent vocational/technical certification 5+ years of related experience 2+ years of project or people management experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word Strong architectural and construction knowledge Experience influencing and collaborating with internal teams, consultants, and remote stakeholders Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Architecture Experience with SketchUp and BIM360 Residential construction experience LI-MB1
