XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is NOW HIRING for an Industrial Painter / Powder Coater (Wet Painter)!Location: Terrell, TX 75160Pay Rate: $16.00- $20.00 Hourly Based ExperienceShifts Available:1st Shift: Monday- Thursday; 7:00 AM – 5:30 PMPosition OverviewResponsible for painting products to customer specifications and drawings by setting up and operating wet and powder coating equipment. This includes paint mixing stations, spray guns, powder guns, hoppers, and paint booths while painting various shapes and sizes of metal parts.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform surface cleaning and preparationSpray paint, powder coat, and perform touch-up paintingFollow processes, specifications, and blueprints to determine required coatingsAdjust painting equipment and processes to ensure quality productionOperate overhead cranes and forkliftsOrganize work area for efficient workflowComplete required paperwork and computer entriesMaintain a safe work environment following OSHA and company proceduresInspect painted parts and correct defects as neededRequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of industrial painting experienceExperience with wet and powder coat applicationsFamiliar with automotive paints, primers, caulking, and Bondo (auto body finish)Experience using paint thickness meters and measurement toolsAbility to interpret drawings and specificationsAbility to lift to 50 lbs and stand/move throughout shiftStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesAble to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBilingual (Spanish) is a plusMust be flexible for overtime and occasional weekend workCompany Hiring Requirements:E-VerifyDrug Test7 Background Year Background CheckBenefits:HealthDentalVision401KIf you are interested in this position, please bring two unexpired forms of ID to apply!305 S.
