The position offers the opportunity to support and care for children in a culturally rich community, serving a diverse population.Job Responsibilities Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for patients' specific conditions and treatments. Work independently to complete assignments while adhering to physician orders, nursing policies, and hospital procedures. Provide support to individuals of all ages and their families.Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. A valid, current, full, and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Must maintain current, valid certification in the following throughout employment: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association. Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be completed within 6 months of hire. Shift Information1800 - 0630, 7 shifts per pay period.
