Join us.PositionTechnical Supply Specialist – Flight OperationsLocationOn-site Duke Field (Eglin AFB), FL, with travel between CA/OCONUSPosition DescriptionDZYNE Technologies (DZYNE) is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the design, development, test, manufacture, and operation of intelligent, autonomous vehicles. The candidate will work in a test and operational flight environment where missions are realized with the highest degree of commitment to quality and efficiency. The Technical Supply Specialist will be responsible for managing the supply chain of aviation equipment and parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in aviation logistics and supply chain management. As a Technical Supply Specialist at DZYNE Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in developing, establishing, and implementing an accountability program to ensure the quality and safety of our aircraft.Key ResponsibilitiesOrdering, receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing aviation parts and equipmentMaintaining records and databases of aviation inventory and transactions while utilizing automated softwareDevelop and implement supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategiesConduct periodic inventories and audits of aviation assetsCoordinate with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of aviation materialsEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards and regulationsDevelop and implement policies and procedures for aviation supply operationsAnalyze and resolve aviation supply issues and problemsProvide technical support and guidance to aviation maintenance and repair personnelResearch and evaluate new aviation products and technologiesQualificationsStrong knowledge of supply chain and accountability processes and proceduresExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to qualityProficient in MS Office suiteAbility to coordinate and establish priorities of workStrong communication and collaboration skillsHAZMAT experience preferredGGR experience would be beneficialEducation / Experience5+ years of experience in aviation logistics and/or relevant military supply chain experienceBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred but not requiredImpeccable communication, presentation, and organizational skillsClearance Level Required: Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.Travel: Up to 50% travel for this position. Willing to support CONUS flight test and/or deploy overseas to austere/non-permissive environments up to three months at a time.Working ConditionsThe diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, such as a general office environment or warehouse.Work may be performed in a harsh climate, and often hazardous situations. While performing the duties of this position, may regularly be exposed to an extreme and austere desert environment.DZYNE personnel should expect to travel to various flight operations locations within the United States, in addition to overseas locations, both of which may experience complex living and working conditions. Personnel may be exposed to austere, deployment-type conditions, and shared living spaces, including military-style accommodations, such as tents or manufactured b-huts with multiple personnel per room, along with military-style meals.Physical DemandsThis position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditionsThis position is subject to a variety of physical and atmospheric conditionsThis position will require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).This position is subject to working conditions peculiar to the particular assignment (e.g., required to perform work-related travel worldwide and may include hardship and combat areas)This position will require the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently (e.g., assistance to load, unload, and emplace ground equipment)Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.Hourly Rate: $33.00 – $43.00Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
