Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Full-TimeLocation: Sanford, North CarolinaJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Sanford, NC. The RBT will provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role involves implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients improve communication, social, and daily living skills.Key Responsibilities:Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBAProvide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy sessionsCollect and accurately record data on client progress and behaviorsAssist in skill acquisition programs (communication, social, self-care)Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategiesMaintain professional communication with supervisors, caregivers, and team membersFollow all ethical and professional guidelines for ABA servicesEnsure a safe and supportive environment for clientsQualifications:Current RBT certification in good standing (required)High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow structured treatment plans and collect detailed dataReliable transportation and willingness to travel locally if neededWork Schedule:Full-time (typically 30–40 hours per week)Flexible schedule; may include evenings or weekends based on client needsBenefits:Competitive hourly payHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunities for career advancement (e.g., BCBA track)Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25–50 lbs as neededAbility to respond quickly to client behaviors
