This role is responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining strong customer relationships, and leveraging MS Companies' technology-driven systems to drive performance and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support a team of quality inspectors to ensure performance, productivity, and quality standards are consistently metMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment to support safety and efficiencyAdhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and client-specific requirementsDevelop, implement, and maintain work instructions and quality processesMonitor production processes, control points, equipment, and personnel to ensure quality standards are achievedAnalyze production and quality data to identify trends, drive improvements, and support cost reduction initiativesCommunicate expectations clearly; monitor performance and provide ongoing feedback and coachingAddress employee relations matters including attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in partnership with HRTrain, mentor, and develop team members to support operational success and career growthMaintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and service excellenceCoordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production demands and customer requirementsAccurately enter and manage time, production data, and other required inputs within company systemsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to visually identify defects in color, shape, size, or texture of partsMust be able to hear and differentiate sounds in a manufacturing environmentMust be able to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the workday for extended periods on concrete floors (up to 10-12 hours)Must be able to move within buildings and operational areas, including ascending and descending stairsMust be able to reach, turn, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, and maintain balance to prevent fallsMust be able to reach overhead and perform repetitive movementsMust be able to lift, carry, transfer, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.Must be able to grasp with both hands and perform fine motor tasks requiring coordination and repetitive motionGood hand-eye coordination for inspection and material handlingMust be able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperaturesQualifications2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environmentStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with quality systems, reporting tools, and process improvement initiativesProficiency with digital systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar platforms) preferredDemonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead teams effectivelyStrong customer service and relationship management skillsFlexibility to work any shift based on business needsWork HoursWork hours and schedules may vary by location, the nature of work, your department, and customers' needs, and are subject to change from time to time to meet business needs.Labor Pool - Variable Schedule Based on Business Needs (Hours Not Guaranteed)BenefitsComprehensive insurance and benefits packagesOpportunities for career growth and advancementTechnology-driven, team-oriented work environmentAccess to earned wages through Daily PayOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
