Inventory Cycle Counter I -1st Shift (Huntley Location)

Summary of the Position:The inventory cycle counter is responsible for accurate and on-going cycle counts and reconciliations.Functions Of The PositionPhysically counts random locations and compares to perpetual on-hand quantities.Consistently maintains accurate perpetual inventories by cycle counting random locations.Operates forklift in a safe manner to perform responsibilities.Assists to ensure first in, first out (FIFO) system is maintained.Makes appropriate recommendations to inventory control supervisor regarding methods to improve inventory accuracies and efficiencies.Qualifications:One or more years of experience in general warehouse or inventory.Sit-down and stand-up forklift certification required.Cherry picker and pallet rider certification preferred.Attention to detailGood verbal and writing communications skillsAbility to read, write and speak English.JBSS is an Equal Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or status as a protected veteran.
