Statistical Programming Analyst IV
*SYSTEMTEC* is seeking a Statistical Programming Analyst IV for a on-site opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will serve as a senior statistical programming resource responsible for analyzing complex datasets, developing reporting solutions, and supporting the transition from SAS to Python. The role will also provide technical guidance to team members while translating sophisticated analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.
*Required Qualifications of the Statistical Programming Analyst IV:*

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* 6+ years of experience in statistical programming, statistical analysis, or statistical interpretation.
* Extensive programming experience with Python and SAS.
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
* Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
* Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies, data management, and relational databases.
* Ability to interpret complex data and communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Self-directed, adaptable professional who can work effectively in an evolving technology environment.
* Must satisfy applicable U.S. residency and background screening requirements, including the requirement to have resided in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years where applicable; credit screening is also required.
*Preferred Skills/Experience of the Statistical Programming Analyst IV:*
* 8+ years of experience applying statistical practices.
* 5+ years of experience with statistical software and relational databases, which may be concurrent.
* Experience migrating legacy SAS programs to Python.
* Experience providing technical mentoring, training, or team-level programming guidance.
*Responsibilities of the Statistical Programming Analyst IV:*
* Develop and maintain statistical programs for recurring and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and research needs.
* Lead or support the migration of existing SAS code and workflows to Python.
* Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful recommendations for decision makers.
* Create reports, primarily in Excel, along with dashboards and visualizations that make analytical results accessible.
* Serve as a technical resource for colleagues by answering programming questions and providing training as needed.
* Apply sound judgment when working through ambiguous requirements and stay current with evolving data and analytical technologies.
