Early Learning Childcare Preschool Teacher
The YMCA Early Learning Team is looking for a vibrant preschool teacher to educate, care for, and inspire the young minds in our preschool classrooms.
To be successful as a preschool teacher, you should have the patience, compassion, and energy to successfully guide a class of young children, each of whom will have different needs, abilities, and emotions. The best candidate will also have excellent planning skills, in order to create and execute lessons and create portfolios on each child's progress.
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
Encouraging social interactions between children and improving their conflict resolution skills.
Engaging in creative methods of learning, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling.
Planning comprehensive lessons to address early childhood development needs.
Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment.
As a full time preschool teacher, you will receive a free Y membership, Paid time off (after 90 days), and 2 hours every week (scheduled & Paid) of computer time to work on lesson plans and other classroom duties. Weekends off.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
