Our work is driven by a strong commitment to safety, innovation, and executional excellence.Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between the company’s central Human Resources Department and field operations. This mid-level role ensures alignment of employee relations practices, and workforce initiatives with organizational goals and values.The HRBP proactively identifies and addresses workforce challenges, enhances employee engagement, and fosters a positive, compliant, and productive work environment across field locations. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with corporate HR leadership and field management teams.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:Partner with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers to help identify staffing needs.Support workforce planning initiatives, including succession planning and career development strategies in coordination with the Talent & Development Manager.Employee Relations & Engagement:Proactively identify and address HR-related issues in the field, including employee grievances, performance concerns, and workplace conflicts.Partner with leadership and escalate matters appropriately to the HR Director as needed.Promote employee retention strategies by fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.Regularly visit field locations to engage employees, assess workplace culture, and identify improvement opportunities.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies in coordination with the Human Resources Department.Support consistent application of HR policies and procedures across all field sites.Maintain documentation and reporting standards consistent with corporate requirements.Communication & ReportingAct as a conduit between corporate Human Resources and field operations to ensure consistent communication and alignment.Prepare and deliver HR activity reports to Senior Management, highlighting trends, successes, challenges, and recommendations.Build and maintain strong relationships with field leadership and Corporate HR partners.Provide a high level of customer service to employees and managers.Support Corporate HR initiatives and projects as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.3–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a field-based or multi-site environment.Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.Experience supporting employee relations, and workforce planning.Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and travel regularly to field locations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.Benefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive benefits package (including health, dental, and vision insurance)401(k) Paid time offOpportunities for professional development and growthPhysical Requirements:Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Walking/Standing: Occasionally required to stand and walk within the office.Lifting: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands to operate computer and other office equipment.Visual/Auditory: Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Travel: Occasional travel required to various GIS office locations.EEOC Statement:GIS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
