Senior District Manager, Strategic Sales | South Cohesity is a leader in AI‑powered data security and management. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead an experienced sales team in a whitespace patch. You will develop and execute Cohesity’s territory strategy, ensuring that sales teams meet goals, objectives, and quotas.
What You’ll Do Build and manage an experienced sales team.
Develop the territory strategy to align short‑ and long‑term goals, objectives, and quotas for sales representatives.
Recruit, lead, and develop the sales team.
Balance team management with customer‑interfacing calls.
Collaborate with extended sales functions (SE Manager, PSO Manager, Inside Sales Manager, Channel Manager, Recruiting, etc.) to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications 10+ years of sales management experience with at least six direct reports.
Track record of achieving team quota in a fast‑paced, highly competitive environment.
Experience leading a horizontal, extended resource team to support the direct sales team.
Extensive experience negotiating large, complex multi‑figure deals.
History of working with OEMs to build strategic sales campaigns.
Proven ability to coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Systems Engineers, Inside Reps, Field Marketing, Professional Services, Channel Management).
Self‑starter who takes initiative and works with limited direction.
Strong personal integrity and high standards for self and team.
BA/BS degree or higher.
Ability to travel 50%+ of the time.
Compensation Pay Range: $296,000.00 – $370,000.00
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full‑time employment. Current pay transparency shows the OTE for commission‑based roles.
