Behavior TechnicianJob Responsibilities/Duties:Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, including skill acquisition and behavior reduction plansImplement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBAAssist BCBA with preparation of student materialsCollect, record, and maintain data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment planMaintain active, professional communication with all team members in order to provide quality support to the studentProvide guidance to teachers and staff on how they can help maintain and support the student with the treatment plans or behavior strategiesAbility to apply appropriate safety techniques utilizing CPI if a student presents as a danger to self or othersAble to accept additional duties as assignedJob Qualifications:At least one year experience working with students with autism and ADHD in a school setting preferredRegistered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification -or- ability to obtain certification within 3 months of hireMust be 18 yrs of ageHigh School diploma or equivalent/higher40-hour RBT trainingPrior ABA experience preferredProficiency with paper and pencil data collection and Microsoft ExcelProficiency with data based decision makingFingerprint clearance cardFirst Aid & CPRCPI trainedGRADE D $17.36-$21.27(DOE)6.75 hours/day
