3020207Summary:The Web Author Specialist is responsible for authoring, publishing, and maintaining content experiences across .com and eCommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and speed to market. This role operates at the intersection of business requirements and technical execution, translating approved content into high‑quality digital experiences using enterprise CMS and headless CMS workflows.The ideal candidate is deeply familiar with content workflows, component‑based authoring, and enterprise publishing standards, and is comfortable partnering closely with teams to ensure content is delivered accurately and efficiently.Duties and Responsibilities:Content Authoring & PublishingAuthor, update, and publish content across .com and eCommerce experiences using enterprise and headless CMS platformsAssemble pages using reusable components, templates, and content modelsEnsure content is accurate, on‑brand, and compliant with business and regulatory requirementsSupport promotions, launches, experiments, and seasonal updatesCMS & Workflow ManagementExecute content changes through established review, approval, and release workflowsCollaborate with business stakeholders to manage content requests and timelinesMaintain content hygiene, versioning, and archival standardsIdentify opportunities to improve authoring efficiency and workflow clarityCross‑Functional CollaborationPartner closely with development teams to understand component behavior, templates, and release processesWork with UX and design to ensure authored content aligns to approved layouts and design intentCoordinate with SEO and analytics partners to support discoverability and performance goalsQuality Assurance & GovernanceValidate content prior to release, including layout, links, metadata, and component renderingSupport A/B tests and personalization by authoring and managing content variantsFollow established governance, accessibility, and compliance standardsSkills and Competencies:Hands‑on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Contentful, Sanity, Optimizely, etc.) Familiarity with headless CMS concepts, structured content, and component‑based authoring Experience working within defined workflows, including approvals and release schedules Strong attention to detail and comfort managing high‑volume content updates Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teamsMinimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience authoring or publishing content on enterprise‑scale websitesPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting eCommerce or lead‑generation websites Familiarity with basic HTML concepts and how content renders on the front‑end Experience working alongside agile development teams Understanding of SEO fundamentals as they relate to content authoring Exposure to personalization, experimentation, or feature flagging toolsLocation:Our office follows 4 days onsite and 1 day remote schedule.Travel:Occasionally, less than 25%Los Angeles Applicants: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.Philadelphia Applicants: Background checks will be conducted during the employment process.
