Corporate Controller - ManufacturingRole SummaryThe Corporate Controller is responsible for leading all accounting operations for a multi-entity organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the ongoing effectiveness of internal controls. This role partners closely with executive leadership and finance leadership to support strategic decision-making, financial oversight, and budgeting/forecasting processes.The Corporate Controller will manage and develop the accounting team, including general ledger and accounts payable/receivable functions, while collaborating with FP&A leadership and the CFO to deliver timely, reliable financial information to internal and external stakeholders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the monthly close process for U.S. entities and consolidation of foreign subsidiaries in accordance with U.S. GAAPPartner with FP&A leadership and the CFO to prepare monthly financial statements, business line reporting, KPI reporting, executive and board presentations, and bank reportingSupport the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cyclesMaintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and support enterprise risk managementContinuously improve costing methodologies and reporting tools in coordination with operationsOversee balance sheet and sub-ledger reconciliations on a monthly basisDrive cost-reduction initiatives and operational productivity improvementsAnalyze and communicate the impact of foreign currency transactions and translationsLead the annual external audit processCoordinate with external tax advisors on property, franchise, state, and partnership tax filings and complianceSupport acquisition integration related to financial records, systems, and internal controlsPerform additional duties as assigned by senior leadershipQualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in AccountingMBA and/or CPA preferred10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience5+ years of close and reporting responsibility in a multi-site organizationStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standardsManufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferredIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical abilitiesProven ability to analyze financial and non-financial data and communicate insights effectively across all organizational levels
