Location: Greenville, TX
Minimum Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Travel: Up to 10% CONUS travel
This position provides subject matter expertise (SME) and guidance in support of detailed operational and technical analyses of airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) sensors, systems and architectures.
Who You Are and What You Need:
Master's Degree Required. Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science or related field required
Mathematical knowledge sufficient to actively participate in developing models and simulations of operationally and technically complex ISR missions, architectures, systems and components preferred
Fifteen (15+) years of operational experience with airborne ISR systems/networks
Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Familiarity with DOD and DAF policies, instructions and directives related to airborne ISR operational and technical requirements
Previous experience managing overall technical scope, cost, staffing, production and deliverables from major or prime contract level programs, including multiple simultaneous research projects is desired
Experience in managing a combination of individuals with varying technical skills
What You Will Do:
Establish and lead multi-disciplinary team in defining ISR system requirements, tactics, techniques and procedures required to conduct independent performance assessments. Support the documentation of assessment results and identify and develop recommended system enhancements.
Guide the planning, design, development and execution of sensor/system/architecture models and simulations to support sensor/system performance assessments. Products include requirements development, operational concept definitions, feasibility studies, technology trade studies, analyses, performance and simulation development.
This position is responsible for supervising Research Engineer I, II, III and IV.
