Camden Rockport Middle School Lunch/Recess Monitor Part Time - 2.5 hours/day Immediate Opening About Camden Rockport Middle School Camden Rockport Middle School, housed in a beautiful new building, serves just under 400 students in grades 5 – 8 from the towns of Camden and Rockport. CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students’ active engagement in the learning process. Position Summary We are looking for a Lunch/Recess Monitor available from 11:30am - 2pm for the 2025-2026 school year. Applicants must be comfortable being outside in a variety of weather throughout the year during their work shift. On-the-job training will be provided around school procedures and expectations. This position works as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Ensure student safety Control timing and flow of student return into building after recess Prevent and intervene in minor behavioral issues Requirements Background check, including fingerprinting Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions Pay and Benefits Pay is $20.53 per hour Eligible to contribute to a 403(b) retirement plan About Camden Rockport School District Camden Rockport Schools is an exceptional school district located in a scenic coastal community and provides a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
