Cloud Architect

Position Title: Cloud Architect Location: New York, NY Type: Contract – Hybrid Pay Rate: $70/hourly on W2Position Description: Join a dynamic organization as a Cloud Architect supporting hybrid cloud solutions in New York, NY. This contract-to-hire role focuses on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud (OCI), with additional experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP beneficial. You'll collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to develop cloud standards, governance models, and multi-cloud strategies. The role involves guiding engineering teams, enhancing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities, and ensuring hybrid infrastructure integration. Key responsibilities include developing cloud architectures, standardizing governance frameworks, and supporting migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud platforms, networking, security, and automation, with experience in hybrid environments and on-premises infrastructure.Top Requirements:9+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including architecture, governance, and standards development5 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred)6 years of experience in hybrid infrastructure architecture, cloud networking, and cloud DevOps/automation tools such as Terraform and AnsibleStrong understanding of cloud security, DR, high availability, and disaster recovery architecturesProficiency with cloud architecture documentation tools like Visio or AbacusExperience integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environmentsExtensive experience with cloud servers and environments with configuration, patching, network and VLAN configuration, backups, system monitoring and alerts.Cloud Platforms, Oracle Cloud (OCI), AWS, Azure, GCP Database Technologies: Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN, Database licensing Product Architecture and roadmap, its assessment • Linux or network administrator skills a plus Platforms: Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, OEM Architecture: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Multi-Cloud Architecture.Automation: Terraform, Ansible, API/CLI automation SRE & DevOps: Monitoring, Observability, SLAs/SLOs/SLIsAbout Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
