Clinician, Older Adult Field Access

DescriptionClinical Services | Counseling | Part-TimeProvide compassionate care where it matters most.Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) is seeking a licensed clinician to expand access to high-quality mental health services for older adults in the community. This role is ideal for a compassionate, adaptable professional who is passionate about meeting clients where they are—whether in the community, in the Dunwoody office, or through telehealth. You will support older adults, caregivers, adults with disabilities, and families through thoughtful, evidence-informed clinical care that improves well-being and access.The Role at a Glace Reports to the Director of Adult Clinical Services or designated leadProvides clinical services to older adults, caregivers, adults with disabilities, and familiesDelivers care in community-based settings, the Dunwoody office, assisted living settings, and via telehealthCombines direct clinical care with outreach, documentation, collaboration, and psycho-educational programmingPart-time role focused on increasing access to services for older adults across the communityWhat You’ll Be Responsible ForConduct psycho-social and intake assessments for older adults and related client populationsProvide individual, conjoint, family, and group psychotherapy using appropriate treatment modalitiesOffer counseling and support to older adults, caregivers, and adults with disabilitiesDevelop and facilitate psycho-educational programs that meet community and client needsAssist with crisis intervention and emergency support as needed, without on-call responsibilitiesComplete clinical documentation and related administrative work within required professional timeframesMaintain a consistent caseload and encounter volume based on field, office, virtual, or onsite service deliveryComplete credentialing requirements within the first 30 days of employmentTravel for home visits and community-based care as neededParticipate in weekly clinical team meetings, supervision, and ongoing consultationYou May Be a Great Fit If You Are Passionate about serving older adults and expanding access to mental health care in the communityComfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with a clinical teamOrganized, reliable, and responsive with strong follow-throughAdaptable across service environments, including office, telehealth, home visits, and community settingsEmpathetic, clinically grounded, and committed to high-quality careA self-starter who takes initiative and manages a caseload responsiblyRequirementsWhat You BringCurrent full licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFTAt least two years of experience in a similar practice setting, ideally serving older adults in community-based environmentsExperience with clinical assessments, psychotherapy, and care coordinationWillingness to work with managed care referrals and complete credentialing requirementsAbility to use Microsoft Word and learn electronic medical record systemsStrong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to meet deadlinesEligibility for Medicare credentialing preferredReliable transportation for travel to client homes and community sitesOpenness to learning about Judaism and working with Jewish individuals and familiesWhy JF&CS?At JF&CS, clinicians play an essential role in helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with dignity, compassion, and expert support.
