Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
As Infrastructure Engineer within the ICS team, you will support lifecycle management and operation of client digital initiatives, including hyperconverged platforms, cloud services, and storage. You’ll work with a cross-functional IT team to ensure resiliency and availability of critical assets. You will drive operational efficiency, monitor performance, and coordinate outages and maintenance. This role offers hands-on technical impact in a scalable, cloud-enabled environment with ITIL-aligned processes. You will shape infrastructure to meet evolving client needs and business goals.
ResponsibilitiesProvide operational support for ICS, covering Windows and Linux servers, SAN/NAS storage, virtualization (VMware), and backup systems (Commvault).Suggest operational efficiency improvements across IaaS, data center automation, and cloud/hybrid solutions.Manage critical infrastructure with ongoing monitoring, real-time metrics, and trend analysis.Coordinate outages and hardware/software maintenance activities.Collaborate with the IT Service Management team to follow ITIL/ITSM service delivery models.
Key requirementsExtensive experience (7+ years) in information technology with focus on critical infrastructure deployments.Strong virtualization, Microsoft clustering, enterprise storage and SAN expertise.Experience with Windows and Linux servers, and backup and recovery (Commvault).Familiarity with monitoring/telemetry (e.g., Splunk) and managing SLAs/KPIs.ITIL/ITSM process experience and ability to work across cross-functional teams.Knowledge of IaaS and cloud offerings; basic SDN concepts.Experience with source control tools (Azure DevOps, Git, or SVN).Excellent organizational, communication, and planning skills.Excellent organizational skillsStrong communication and cross-functional relationship-buildingProblem-solving and proactive planningVMware virtualizationMicrosoft clustering technologiesEnterprise storage and SAN
