Professional AssistantThe Professional Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative and clerical support to the Adult Services division, including Residential (IRA) and Day Habilitation programs. This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by managing records, coordinating communication, supporting compliance documentation, and serving as a key liaison across internal teams and community partners. Pay Range: $21.24 - $25.67 Hourly; Based on experience and educationRESPONSIBILITIES :Provide confidential administrative and clerical support to Adult Services leadership and program teamsMaintain accurate participant records, program documentation, and compliance-related files across Residential and Day Habilitation servicesCoordinate calendars, meetings, medical appointments, and required program reviews (including ISP and HCBS documentation)Prepare, distribute, and track key documents such as meeting minutes, behavior and injury reports, Plans of Corrective Action, and program formsSupport Residential (IRA) and Day Habilitation operations by managing schedules, attendance, participant funds, checklists, and required reportingServe as a liaison with internal departments, community partners, vendors, and volunteer organizationsAssist with recruitment processes, including application tracking, interview coordination, and candidate follow-upCoordinate program events, communications, and materials, including open houses, staff events, and participant activitiesProvide front desk reception and general office support, including phones, visitor coordination, mail distribution, supply management, and basic troubleshootingAssist with financial and operational processes such as purchase orders, petty cash tracking, and vehicle documentationSupport agency-wide initiatives and special projects as assignedREQUIREMENTS : High School Diploma required; additional administrative or business coursework preferredMinimum of 3 years of related office or administrative experienceProficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel requiredStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionDetail-oriented with strong recordkeeping and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamExperience in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit settings preferredBENEFITS :Over 6 weeks of paid time off your 1st yearCollege partnerships that provide discountsScholarships available!403B with company matchMedical, Dental, Vision etc.And much more, see link belowAnderson Center for Autism offers our Employees with a Generous Benefits Package: https://www.andersoncenterforautism.org/benefitAbout Anderson Center for AutismAnderson Center for Autism is dedicated to optimizing quality of life (QofL) for individuals with autism across the lifespan.
