This is a rare opportunity to own the narrative for a brand at an inflection point - shaping how the industry understands the future of clean, high-performance skincare.What you'll ownDeveloping and executing media engagement strategies across national consumer press, regional outlets, and trade publicationsLeveraging an established Rolodex of beauty and lifestyle media contacts to land high-impact coverageWriting, editing, and distributing top-tier press releases and brand stories that elevate the company's unique positioningBuilding and sustaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and industry voices - with proactive pitching and diligent follow-throughLeading paid media and ad-buying strategy in print and digital outlets to extend brand reachPlanning and executing press events, brand activations, and media roundtables that communicate premium brand identityTracking media coverage, compiling press clippings, and delivering insights to leadershipSupporting influencer outreach, brand gifting programs, and cross-functional communications as neededPartnering closely with the VP of Marketing to align PR with broader brand strategyYou bring5+ years of PR experience in beauty - clean, luxury, or high-growth brands preferredA proven track record as a top-tier storyteller: writing and placing impactful press releases is second natureStrong, established relationships with journalists and editors across beauty, wellness, and lifestyle mediaExperience managing paid print and digital ad buying in leading media outletsDemonstrated ability to plan, manage, and execute press events and brand activations end-to-endExcellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detailHighly organized, self-motivated, and calm under the pressure of a fast-moving environmentA creative, solutions-first mindset and genuine passion for purpose-driven brandsBonus points for experience with influencer outreach platforms, a background in sustainability storytelling, or an existing network in wellness mediaWhy this opportunityYou'll have real ownership, direct access to decision-makers, and the chance to define how a high-conviction brand tells its story to the world.
