Operations Manager Water TransferThe Operations Manager Water Transfer oversees water transfer projects, short and long term, with the goal of achieving incident free, profitable operations that benefit the organization and customers alike.Job RequirementsEssential Duties:Lead, motivate and support within time-sensitive, demanding environmentsEnsure that operational activities remain on time and within budgetDrive productivity, efficiency and quality standardsSolve technical problems in the field to eliminate or reduce down timeTrain subordinate team members (Transfer Techs to Transfer Supervisors)360-degree communication flowDelivery of excellent customer serviceOversee material and inventory on projects managedManage subcontractors in the fieldFollow direction and guidance provided by branch managementDevelop strategies for improved efficiency and increased profitForecast activity levels and resources required to meet customer, team member and organizational needBuild-out a structured, trained, and effective teamReview of all documents submitted in KPA and Samsara dailyAssist with recruitment, interviewing and onboarding processesEnsure compliance with EHS and DOT policy, procedure, and regulationsCollaborate with internal departments (fleet, business development, automation, EHS)Resolve team member and customer mattersCare and upkeep of rented, leased and company owned assetsEffectively manages overtime, non-billable and inefficient labor hoursEffectively manages rental equipment, per SOP Cost vs. BilledCollaborate with account team to ensure customers are billed timely and accuratelyReview and approval of daily hours workedCommunicate needs to Area Manager (crew trucks, trailers, transfer assets, employees, p-v-f, etc.)Non-Negotiables:Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screeningValid driver's license and meets requirements to be insurable in company vehicleWilling to travelProven experience supervising or managing a crew / multiple crewsProvide multiple references from previous or current supervisors / managersImportant Considerations:Multiple years of water transfer supervisory or management experiencePrefers to lead othersProficiency in Microsoft OfficeWeighted value in field operations and administrative dutiesBusiness minded Makes decisions that benefit Shalestone, our team and customers alikeYou can perform and train - most tasks related to deploying, operating, troubleshooting and rigging down a water systemPersonal drive pursues high standards and reward for achieving desired performance
