We have also successfully placed hundreds of candidates in the areas related to Information Technology, Engineering, professional, Scientific & Clinical, etc. for both our commercial and government clients.Job DescriptionSenior Reports/Backend SQL Server Developer with proven professional experience in the design, development, delivery and enhancement of SQL queries, reports, procedures, functions and other necessary backend development.Candidate will be responsible for the implementation and management of business aligned IT services.Ensuring the application platform is of high quality, defects free and adheres to industry standards for development, testing and deployment methodologies.Must have experience with SQL Server Management Studio, Code Editor for authoring Transact-SQL, MDX, DMX, XML/A, Reporting Services, Analysis Services etc.Hands on experience with any of the following is favorable:.NET, VB Script/JavaScript, BPEL, PHP and WebLogic.The successful candidates will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, characteristics, experiences and/or abilities:Delivers enterprise, Web-enabled reporting functionality and create reports that draw content from a variety of data sources, publish reports in various formats, and centrally manage security and subscriptions.Compliment/Capable of design, develop and deploy applications that support users on the case and program management especially with CATCH application.Provides mentorship and technical advice to a team of Application/Reports/Query developers.Provides strategic advice to the lead, management and customersCapable of implementing programming standards that support a secure and defect free application.Interacts daily with clients in order to meet the technical requirements for new initiatives.Works with Quality Assurance / Quality Control teams to insure the application remains secure and defect free.Defines and documents processes to be used by all application developers on the team.Plans, researches, and recommends new equipment, software tools, and related technologies.Uses monitoring and performance analysis tools to troubleshoot and isolate application performance issues.Updates system and process documentation, produces user guides, ER diagrams, and SOPs as needed - Including Visio Network design drawings.Provides all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.Designs, creates, and maintains databases in a client/server environment.Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.Advises users on access to various client/server databases.Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to Job Control Language (JCL), access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end (e.g., Cognos)/back-end programming languages (e.g., Structured Query Language (SQL).Performs database programming and supports systems design.Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design.Skills:Proven experience in IT field with focus on the technical reporting, system setup, data analysis and analytics.Proven experience in the setting up and configuration of MS SQL Server infrastructure.Proven experience in creating and deploying reporting/dashboard solutions using Reporting Services of MS SQL Server together with good problem solvingSQL and Transact SQLCandidate should have worked on any of the leading Reporting tools like SSRS and TableauCandidate should strong ETL experience in Data WarehouseProcedural Language knowledge (Joins/Cursors/Triggers)Data warehousing concepts and schema descriptionBusiness Intelligence platforms (experiences with ETL Tools like Informatica/SSIS/Data Stag)Other Reporting Tools Business Objects, MicroStrategy Cognos, and / or Qlikview.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experienceAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interested
