This is an exciting employment opportunity for a person with the appropriate education and background. NYS Teacher Certification in Social Studies or another appropriate area is required. Previous successful high school teaching experience is preferred. Extensive knowledge, skills and professional experience in law, government criminal justice or public policy. Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff and community partners. RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: Selected candidate will be responsible for delivery of instruction and supervise and mentor students in internships/experiences at court, government agencies, law offices and legislative offices, coordinate guest speakers, field trips and special projects. Maintain relationships with local partners; courts, legislatives and non-profit. SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting salary $57,315 - $79,266 per year.
