Bi-vocational Worship/Music Director

Courtland Baptist Church, Courtland ALCourtland Baptist is seeking a bi-vocational Worship/Music Director who is appointed by God to lead Christ-centered worship within the church. This individual will guide the church to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. They will promote an environment that honors God and encourages participation from the congregation.Responsibilities Lead and plan Sunday worship services and special services Disciple and develop choir members and musicians Collaborate with the Senior Pastor, Children’s Choir Director, musicians, and video/audio team in planning and coordinating services Oversee all aspects of the worship ministry, including rehearsals, service preparation, special music lineup, and choir practice Research, select, and organize sheet music for choir and praise team Include blended music for worshipQualifications A clear testimony of salvation and a calling to serve as a Worship/Music Director Demonstrated ability to lead congregational worship and build effective ministry teams Strong organizational and communication skillsPreferred Ability to read musicPosition Details Part-time position Reports directly to the Senior PastorTo ApplyPlease send resume to Lori Boston, chairman, at Lbbrackin03@aol.com
