Capital Markets Analyst II
Description
The Analyst II, Capital Markets gathers, analyzes and interprets product data in areas such as budgets, financial planning/ forecasting and cash flow projections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform data manipulation, validation and analysis activities to improve efficiencies and identify opportunities in product profitability and performance
Analyze product strategies to support profitability and business plan goals
Coordinate and organize projects and processes that deliver business plan goals
Build and maintain cash flow and other financial models, providing analysis and insights as required
Assist with the building and mapping of databases related to loan purchase programs
Prepare, deliver and/or present reports, analyses and results for senior leadership, committees, and other business units
Draft and maintain documentation of procedures for producing reports
Experience and Education Requirement:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance is preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a data analyst role, preferably in the financial services industry
Working knowledge of financial statements, fixed income securities, total return concepts, economic data and the impact to capital markets
Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume peaks while producing high-quality work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically to all levels
Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with a data visualization/dashboarding tool (such as Tableau) is preferred
Strong knowledge of analytical/quantitative tools and databases (such as SQL, SAS, Python, R)
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel

Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office – Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $70,800 - $81,458 + annual bonus
