SECOND Shift Floor Inspector

Therm, Incorporated, a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking a qualified individual for a position in our Quality Assurance Department for Floor Inspector. *-Second Shift (3:30pm - 12:00am)* -Overtime assigned as needed or as business necessitates. -Full Time -Starting wage dependent upon experience. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the in-process auditing/inspection of parts during processing on the manufacturing floor using a variety of inspection tools to assure conformance with prescribed specifications in blueprints, operation sheets, process sheets, layouts, work orders, charts and/or written and verbal instructions. POSITION DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES: \*Experience in a machine shop environment is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided. \*Reject parts not meeting specifications. Must initiate, investigate and write deviation reports as needed for non-conforming parts or processes. \*Work directly with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to discuss, review and resolve operation and process sheet discrepancies. \*Documentation and reporting of final inspection findings and/or results. \*Become familiar with "Special Processes", i.e. Weld, Heat Treat, Shot Peen, Polish etc. \*Assist in gauge R & R studies. \*Ability to setup and use comparator charts for part and setup verification. \*Ability to learn and be able to understand and use a variety measuring and testing tools. \*At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions. \*Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. \*Being a team player is essential. \*Good communication skills a must. \*Must pass a physical examination including drug testing. \*Must pass eye examination and have vision adjusted to 20/20. \*Background checks also performed.
