The position will also assist with label development in related businesses and will participate in driving consistency and accuracy of format, content and processes across all products and locations.This position accomplishes program objectives through matrixed employee teams who are not direct reports but for which the incumbent has direct accountability to provide work direction. The majority of time is spent overseeing their area of responsibility, managing program/team performance, communicating status, planning, prioritizing and directing the responsibilities of team members. Position will also be responsible for participating in the development of labeling deliverables and reviewing the work of others as neededResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Works with product development teams, manufacturing sites, regulatory, reliability engineers and labeling team members to plan, create and release labeling components.Provides input to establishing program objectives, timelines, milestones, and budgets .Recommends new/ updated policies and procedures that affect program management.Creates or supports development of various required labeling components, including component specifications, template designs and final label image specifications.Develops plan, manages and monitors timelines and process of new and revised labeling ensuring all deadlines are metReviews, and releases labeling for package labels, cartons and other related materials ensuring that they meet all documented design inputsProvides metrics from team performance to upper managementCommunicates and leads meetings with internal and external customers and vendors, conducts briefings to higher level management team.Solves issues through information exchange, influence and active persuasion without direct exercise of command to gain cooperation of other parties on program execution plans.Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R.214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Nice to haveMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in labeling, package engineering, IT or relevant industry OR advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experienceHighly detail orientedExperience working with global teamsExperience working with Adobe Illustrator and/or other graphic design programsPrevious database driven labeling system experience (Loftware, Prisym 360, Transform) in a regulated industry ckagePrevious Package labeling experienceFamiliar with labeling regulatory requirements for medical devicesPrevious experience providing work direct for team members, training new employeesPrevious database driven labeling system experience (Loftware, Prisym 360, Transform) in a regulated industry ckagePrevious Package labeling experienceFamiliar with labeling regulatory requirements for medical devicesPrevious experience providing work direct for team members, training new employeesBA or BS Degree in Package Engineering, Graphic design or computer sciencePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. PR) locations (USD):$113,600.00 - $170,400.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
