They are expanding into the B2B space and are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Data Integrations to play a critical role in connecting their platform with enterprise customer environments.This is a highly visible, strategic role sitting at the intersection of platform engineering, data, AI, and customer-facing delivery. You’ll lead the development of integration systems that transform customer data into actionable insights — while also managing a team and directly engaging with enterprise clients.About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll balance architecture, coding, team management, and customer interaction.You will own the integration layer that connects enterprise systems (ERP, internal tools, and business applications) into a scalable, multi-tenant platform — enabling advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.What You’ll DoLead Customer IntegrationsDesign and build scalable integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, internal tools, business applications)Translate customer operational data into structured inputs for analytics and AI use casesDevelop robust pipelines to ingest, normalize, and process diverse data sourcesOwn the API & Integration PlatformArchitect and maintain multi-tenant APIs with strong tenant isolation and RBACBuild and scale data pipelines, webhooks, and reverse ETL workflowsEnsure reliability, performance, and a seamless developer experience for partnersDrive AI-Enabled DevelopmentLeverage LLMs to accelerate integration development and automate data mappingEnable intelligent insights from customer datasets through modern AI techniquesEstablish Data GovernanceDefine and manage data contracts, schema evolution, and API versioningEnsure consistency and scalability across all integration touchpointsEnsure Security & ComplianceImplement best practices across encryption, audit logging, and access controlAlign systems with SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA requirementsPartner with CustomersAct as a senior technical leader in customer engagementsScope integration requirements, guide onboarding, and build long-term partnershipsLead & MentorManage and grow a team of engineersBalance hands-on technical work with leadership and strategic directionWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Experience10+ years in backend, data engineering, or platform engineering roles3+ years of engineering management experienceStrong background in enterprise system integrations (ERP, SaaS platforms, etc.)Deep expertise in API design, data pipelines, and distributed systemsExperience building or working with multi-tenant architecturesProven ability to work directly with enterprise customers in a technical capacityHands-on experience using LLMs or AI tools to improve engineering workflows or data processingStrong understanding of data modeling, schema governance, and versioningTechnical StrengthsExperience integrating systems like NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similarFamiliarity with iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) or custom integration frameworksAbility to handle complex data mapping, normalization, and error handling across systemsThese Skills Are a PlusExperience in industries like food service, retail, or logisticsKnowledge of EDI transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810)Background in IoT or hardware + software environmentsExposure to ML/CV pipelines or advanced analytics systemsExperience with SOC 2 Type II complianceFamiliarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, or SparkWhy This Role Stands OutHigh-impact role shaping a company’s B2B integration strategy from the ground upBlend of hands-on engineering + leadership + customer interactionOpportunity to work with modern AI/LLM-driven workflowsStrong compensation, equity upside, and growth trajectory
