Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Carpenter Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of concrete construction, carpentry and layout, construction processes, and site management, with the ability to coordinate teams effectively on diverse projects including commercial and residential projects. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading and various concrete construction methods, including and not limited to Total Station Layout to deliver exceptional results on time and within scope. Duties Supervise daily operations on concrete construction sites, doing project layout based on blueprints, coordinating team to complete tasks efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution. Oversee the installation of framing. Manage concrete forming, concrete finishing, concrete pumping, and rebar installation activities. Operate or oversee the operation of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery required for construction tasks. Coordinate heavy lifting operations and the use of cranes or other heavy equipment safely. Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards. Estimate project costs and materials for construction estimating purposes. Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel. Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to ensure project goals are met efficiently. Experience Proven experience in construction site management or as a lead carpenter with extensive hands-on experience in commercial or residential concrete projects. Minimum 7 years experience in commercial concrete installation and with extensive concrete carpentry experience. Must have extensive experience in reading blueprints and schematics accurately. Total Station Layout familiarity and experience strongly preferred Extensive experience with concrete operations, concrete finishing techniques, and framing. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material procurement. Experience working with power tools such as saws, drills, grinders; hand tools; and specialized equipment like concrete pumps is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for site transportation needs.
