Senior Accountant to $92K + $19K bonusPlease note: They are working Mondays and Fridays remotely and Tuesdays through Thursdays onsite. Prestigious top ranked billion dollar institution has a unique opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join its expanding team. There are multiple openings on this team open due to internal promotions! This company is also well known for their exceptional bonus and benefits compensation plan. The position reports to a CPA who is interested in mentoring the right candidate.Perform as a key contributor to the monthly and quarterly closing process. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and variance commentary on the entity analytical report,Support the preparation of the of the US financial statements and other operating data for actual, budget, and forecast purposes.Work closely with the Business, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting and Planning functions to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data reported in the general ledger for assigned entities.Work effectively across the company’s functional organizations. Promote effective lateral communication and coordination across groups, both internal and external to the Finance function, to improve efficiency and achieve desired results.Assist in the quarterly and annual audit of the US in-scope entities with the external auditors.Research and resolve various accounting and reporting issues and questions that arise at the regional, corporate and group levels.Conduct financial studies and analyses as requested by management and further improve the quality of information collected in the month-end closing process.Perform other duties as required.Education and/or Experience:BS Accounting with 2+ years from a public accounting firm and/or large corporate accounting department. CPA is strongly preferred.
