Growing structural engineering firm looking for an experienced structural design engineer. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction administration. ResponsibilitiesPrepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimatesPerform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspectionsCollaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projectsStructural design of residential/commercial/industrial structuresKnowledge of steel, concrete, masonry & wood designField inspections of damaged or deteriorated structuresWorking with clients to determine SOW and deliverablesQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural EngineeringExcellent written and verbal communication skills5 Years of experienceEIT, PE preferredKnowledge of ASCE7, IBC, AISC, ACI codes required
