Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Responsibilities: Design core backend software components to drive high-scale infrastructure solutions. Utilize C/C++, Java, PHP, and Hack to code, collaborate, and enhance the platform’s functionality. Conduct code reviews and interface with other teams to align innovations across the organization. Lead major technical initiatives and projects while providing mentorship to newer team members. Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and stability. Play a critical role in setting team goals, ensuring engineering efficiency, and driving project impact. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of programming experience in relevant languages. 6+ years of relevant experience in building large-scale infrastructure or similar applications. Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or Hack, with experience leading major technical initiatives. Strong expertise in improving quality through code reviews, testing, and monitoring. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical fields, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in C, C++, and Java programming languages. Experience working with large-scale software architectures. Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively, setting the direction for technical projects.
