Set-Up Operator Level 1 for the Spring DepartmentOur client is an international metal precision manufacturer that focuses on metal springs, progressive stampings, machined components, and assembly work for almost 80 years, and has over 400 employees! They have been supporting various industries including medical, defense, aerospace, and other government industries. They make a wide variety of parts for a large number of customers! They are currently seeking a Set-Up Operator Level 1 for the Spring Department on 1st Shift.Selling Points:Large growing company!Opportunity for 15 Days PTO in year 1.Strong Medical, Dental, Vision, life, and 401KResponsibilities:Ensure operation of departmental machinery.Make minor repairs to machine tools.Remove old tool from machinery and replaces with new tool.Set up MachinesMay be required to assist or otherwise instruct other personnel.Performs other duties as may be required.Qualifications:High School, Trade School graduate or demonstrated equivalent skills.Good math skillsAbility to read blue printsGood mechanical skillsGood communication skillsKnowledge in the use of simple gauges (i.e. plug gauge)Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery for precision work.Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.Ability to lift objects from lower to a higher position or moving horizontally from position-to-position.Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassistedSchedule:1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMPay Rate: $23 Hourly #IND-LP
