Job DescriptionOur client, a world leader in semiconductor manufacturing, is looking for a Linux Systems / Data Center Admin.Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Further Extension)Location: Milpitas, CACompany Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401KJob SummaryThis role supports the setup, maintenance, and operation of a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both hardware and Linux-based systems and is comfortable in a fast-paced, technical setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform rack & stack, cabling, and physical setup of serversMonitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systemsWrite and use basic Bash/Python scripts to automate routine tasksSet up system monitoring and alerts to ensure uptimeDiagnose and resolve hardware and infrastructure issuesCollaborate with engineers and developers to ensure smooth operationsRequired SkillsHands-on experience with server hardware and componentsStrong comfort working in a Linux environment (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.)Basic knowledge of Bash or Python scriptingExperience with troubleshooting and system maintenanceUnderstanding of networking and cablingNice to HaveExperience with Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD toolsExposure to containers (Docker/Kubernetes)Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)Experience in data center or HPC environmentsIf interested, please send us your updated resume at hr@dawarconsulting.com/lakshmi@dawarconsulting.com.Skill Set
