This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with a company that values long-term growth, teamwork, and high-quality project delivery.Position OverviewThe Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipeline projects, and related utility infrastructure work. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of heavy civil construction means and methods, with experience estimating municipal and public works projects.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for water/wastewater construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and contract documentsPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysisSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotesCollaborate with project managers, operations teams, and leadership during preconstructionAttend pre-bid meetings and site visits as neededIdentify project risks and develop value engineering opportunitiesMaintain accurate estimating databases and historical cost informationAssist in developing project schedules and bid strategiesQualifications5+ years of estimating experience within heavy civil, utility, or water/wastewater constructionStrong understanding of treatment plants, underground utilities, and municipal infrastructure projectsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience with estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication and organizational skillsDegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salaryBonus opportunitiesComprehensive benefits package401(k) with company matchPTO and paid holidaysRelocation assistance availableLong-term growth opportunities with a respected contractor
