Systems Engineer – AWS, Linux/Windows, Terraform & Kubernetes

Overview As a Systems Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments to support production systems. You will partner with software and cross-functional teams to improve reliability, automation, and security, shaping deployment processes and observability. This role offers hands-on ownership of infrastructure and opportunities to work on AI-enabled applications. You will operate in a fast-growing tech organization focused on scalable platform operations. ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS and on-prem environmentsAdminister Linux and Windows servers including patching and lifecycle managementBuild and maintain networking including VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, VPCs, subnetsSupport CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation) for Docker/Kubernetes workloadsManage identity, access controls, credentials, and secure system accessMonitor infrastructure health and proactively address performance and reliability issuesImplement security controls, vulnerability management, and patching processesSupport backup, disaster recovery, and business continuityParticipate in production incident response and root-cause analysisCollaborate with Software Engineering and Operations on platform improvements Key requirements3–5 years in Systems/Infrastructure/DevOps or relatedHands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53)Linux and/or Windows Server administrationStrong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, load balancing, VPCs)Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)Experience with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)Observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)Understanding of IAM/SSO, secrets management, vulnerability management, securityProduction infrastructure support and troubleshootingStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsstrong communicationcollaboration across technical and business teamsAWS (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53)TerraformAnsibleCloudFormation
