Lead IT & Audio Visual Installation TechnicianElite Pro Technology is hiring a Lead IT & Audio Visual Installation Technician to own field execution on technology installation projects.This is a hands-on lead role for someone who takes pride in doing clean, accurate work. We are looking for a steady professional who understands that good installation work is not just about getting equipment mounted or cables pulled. It is about craftsmanship, planning, communication, presentation, documentation, and leaving behind a system that works correctly the first time.The right person for this role can walk into a jobsite meeting, communicate clearly with a general contractor, customer, superintendent, or other trade, and represent the company with confidence and professionalism. You do not need constant supervision to know what quality looks like.What You Will DoYou will lead installation work across IT, low-voltage, structured cabling, and audio visual systems. Typical work may include:Leading on-site installation of cabling, racks, mounting hardware, AV equipment, network hardware, displays, cameras, access control, and related technology systemsReading drawings, plans, scopes, and job notes to understand what needs to happen before work beginsBreaking projects into clear tasks and keeping yourself or a small crew moving efficientlyInstalling, terminating, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting copper, coax, fiber, and AV cablingMounting displays, speakers, cameras, racks, pathways, cable supports, and related hardware cleanly and safelyCertifying or testing cabling and producing accurate closeout documentationWorking with dispatch to ensure resources and materials are allocated to complete jobsIdentifying missing materials, scope gaps, or jobsite conflicts early enough to avoid unnecessary delaysCommunicating professionally with customers, project managers, general contractors, supers, and other tradesKeeping jobs organized, clean, safe, and presentableHelping ensure the completed project reflects well on Elite Pro TechnologyWhat Success Looks LikeSuccess in this role means your work is reliable, clean, and finished correctly.A strong technician in this position will:Complete projects with a low number of return visits or callbacksCatch problems before the customer doesKeep job sites organized and professionalCommunicate clearly when materials, access, drawings, or decisions are neededDocument work accurately so the next technician can understand what was doneMaintain high standards without needing to be micromanagedLead other installers calmly and clearlyRepresent the company well in front of customers and construction teamsWe value people who are thoughtful, precise, and consistent. Speed matters, but not at the expense of quality.Required ExperienceQualified candidates should have experience in some or all of the following:Structured cabling installationCommercial low-voltage workAudio visual system installationNetwork hardware installationEquipment rack buildoutCable pathway, ladder rack, basket tray, conduit, J-hooks, and support systemsDevice mounting and finish-out workCable testing, labeling, and troubleshootingReading construction drawings or low-voltage plansWorking safely with ladders, lifts, hand tools, and power toolsCommunicating professionally on active jobsitesHighly Desired CertificationsThese are not strictly required, but they are strongly preferred:CTSCTS-IBICSIBICSI Installer 2BICSI TechnicianFiber, network, AV, or manufacturer-specific certificationsCertification matters because this is a lead role. We need someone who understands standards and can routinely deliver with excellence.
