Locum Tenens General Surgery Opportunity Near Graytown, Ohio We are seeking a board-certified General Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity near Graytown, Ohio. This temporary position will provide coverage fromDecember 20, 2024, through January 5, 2025 . The need has arisen due to the current surgeon being out of the country during these dates. Job Highlights: Setting:Hospital-based General Surgery with Level 3 Trauma Center coverage Call Coverage:24/7, responsible for general surgery consults, trauma cases, and inpatient care Daily Surgical Cases:Approximately 10 cases per day Trauma Designation:Level 3 Trauma Center Annual ER Volume:27,000 patients Operating Rooms:10 well-equipped operating rooms Collaborative Team:Experienced OR staff, skilled in both robotic and general surgery procedures EMR System:Epic Required Procedures: General adult surgical cases Trauma care, including central line insertion, chest tube insertion, vascular access devices Common surgeries such as cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, appendectomies, and bowel resections Additional Procedures (Preferred): Trauma care for lacerations and perforations of internal organs Position Requirements: Board Certified in General Surgery Required ACLS, ATLS, BLS Certifications Required Ohio Medical License Preferred (willing to consider candidates looking to obtain) Provider must have a clean file for consideration Perks of the Position: Travel reimbursement, including lodging at $150/night for the duration of the assignment Opportunity to work with a highly trained OR team in a community hospital setting Temporary coverage at a facility known for compassionate, high-quality healthcare Credentialing Information: Estimated credentialing time: 60-90 days Providers should submit their up-to-date CV, malpractice documentation, and references if available If you are interested in this locum tenens opportunity near Graytown, Ohio, apply now and referenceJob IDfor more details!
