The facility requires coverage during scheduled clinical hours only, with no inpatient responsibilities. The practice setting is outpatient, with an expected patient load of 15-20 per day. The provider will not be required to handle admissions, and temporary privileges are not available. The selected physician should be board certified and possess expertise in oncology. Certification in ACLS is a prerequisite. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system, and while it does not accept multiple providers, it is well-equipped to support the incoming locum tenens physician. In this outpatient practice, you will find a supportive environment, and the physician will have dedicated support staff, including RNs, MAs, PAs/NPs, and office staff. There is no requirement for the provider to supervise advanced practice providers, making this an ideal opportunity for a physician seeking an independent practice setting. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, providing flexibility for the physician. While the site prefers full-time coverage, it can accommodate if the provider can only stay 3-4 nights during the week.
