The Salesforce Engineer II is responsible for the support and development of our Salesforce.com Sales, Service and Community cloud deployment. As part of a dynamic and exci@ng development center, the SE II will engage with a variety of development technologies available within the salesforce plaPorm, while u@lizing state-of-the-art soLware techniques, including Behavioral Driven Development, and CI/CD. The role is responsible for execu@ng the day-to-day configura@on, security, support, maintenance, and con@nuous improvement of our CRM plaPorm as well as suppor@ng the delivery of business-cri@cal projects. Du,es and Responsibili,es Responsible for ongoing support and enhancement of the Salesforce plaPorm. Design, develop and deploy enhancements and new system func@onality, including but not limited to the crea@on of custom objects and flows; development of apex classes and triggers; and development of lightning pages and components. Par@cipate in all phases of the soLware development life cycle, including func@onal analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, tes@ng, deployment, and support. Apply best prac@ces and design paNerns leveraging the Salesforce and Payroc enterprise technologies, such as Lightning Design System, SFDX, and CLI-based tooling (Salesforce CLI, Git, scrip@ng). Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, automate repe@@ve tasks, and prototype solu@ons — applying cri@cal judgement to validate and refine AI-generated output. Understand internal, merchant and partner needs, problems, and expecta@ons and take ac@on to address expecta@ons through high quality, innova@ve solu@ons that deliver value to our customers. Qualifica,ons 3-5 years in a Salesforce Development posi@on. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field. Salesforce Lightning development. Experience with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API. Familiarity with AI development tools such as Claude and AgenPorce, with the ability to use them produc@vely while cri@cally evalua@ng outputs. Crea@ve and analy@cal thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and wriNen communica@on skills. Expected to be self-starters who can operate well under a variety of different situa@ons and types of projects, ranging from a team of one to a team of many. Strong analy@cal, problem-solving, and organiza@onal skills. Must be proac@ve, self-mo@vated, aNen@ve to detail, and able to work well under pressure. Willingness to work as part of a team.
