Learn more about the benefits of joining Team UES and our core values at careers.teamues.com.Position OverviewThe Senior Project Manager is a key role, responsible for coordinating all activities within the Building InspectionsDepartment, including project documentation management and communication with clients, field inspectors,engineers, and municipalities. This position will be responsible for supervising all permitting and plan reviewactivity in the department, ensuring that all required reports and documents are compiled, updated, andmaintained for a complete Certificate of Compliance package upon project completion. The ideal candidate is areliable, trustworthy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where both collaboration and autonomyare valued.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement standardized processes for processing permits and plan reviewsMaintain seamless communication with clients, owners, contractors, and stakeholders regarding the opening and closing of projects Attend preconstruction and onsite meetings with clients and municipalities to ensure complianceObtain documents from clients to facilitate the permit application process Obtain all required approvals for permits and act as the primary liaison between the company, client, and each municipallityPrepare and submit applications to various agencies/boards having jurisdiction over required permits and/or approvals Review plans issued out of the department for correct revision dates and review start packafes for accuracyCollaborate with external consultants to coordinate paperwork and applications as necessary submit, distribute, and file paperwork and enter data for various permits, such as building, standard plans, plan changes, and closeout documentsMaintain all company files relating to permit applications, approvals, licenses, issues permits, and closeour documentsFoster a strong working relationship with municipalities to ensure timely permit processingCoordinate project activities and billing with the project coordinatorPerform other duties as assignedFollow safety proceduresQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or PMP certification preferred. 7+ years of progressive project management experience, preferably within engineering, environmental, or construction industries. Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex, and high-impact projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment. Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite. In-depth knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience managing project financials, contracts, and vendor relationships. Ability to travel to job sites and regional offices as needed. Self-directed, highly organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a matrixed or decentralized organization.Preferred QualificationsState of Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) ORState of Florida Registered Architec (AIA) OR State of FLorida licensed Building Official Travel RequirementsThis position does not require regular travel as part of its primary responsibilities. However, occasional travel may be required, up to 10%, primarily for occasional off-site meetings, training sessions, or company events.
