Extended School Year Teacher (Elementary School - Life Skills)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESY teacher to join our team for the upcoming Extended School Year Program. The ESY teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs during the summer months to prevent regression and support continued academic growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with disabilities, implementing individualized education plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support student success. Responsibilities:Implement individualized education plans (IEP's) for studentsProvide direct instruction in academic and functional skillsMonitor and report student progress and adjust instruction as neededCollaborate with related service providers, families, and school staffMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performanceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)Valid PA Teacher Certification in Special EducationExperience working with students with disabilitiesKnowledge of IEP development and implementationStrong communication and collaboration skillsProgram will run Monday through Thursday from July 6, 2026 through July 30, 2026Staff hours will be 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (students will report 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)8 hours of preparation as well as 8 hours of end-of-ESY paperwork and cleanup will be compensated.
