TLE Middletown, NY is looking for a creative, energetic, and passionate individual to ensure a positive educational environment for our students. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), a genuine love for children, and a strong commitment to education.
The Educational Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating daily operations of the curriculum for our program. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive culture in the center, supporting teachers in the implementation of our LEAP Curriculum while incorporating elements of Philanthropy and holidays, and building an environment where children, families and staff thrive.
Above everything, the Educational Coordinator will uphold the Vision, Mission, Core Values and philosophy of our TLE Middletown, NY family.
Responsibilities
To ensure that our children are receiving the best possible early childhood educational experience.
To lead by example; be a mentor to all staff.
To create and foster a positive school -home environment.
To ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies.
To oversee classroom lesson plans, curriculum, and activities
To keep senior management informed with monthly classroom observations.
To conduct feedback meetings with staff based on monthly classroom observations
To tour and enroll new families
Qualifications:
AT LEAST an associates degree in early childhood education or a related field (child psychology, developmental psychology, children's studies, etc.)
Early childhood teaching experience
Must meet state specific guidelines for this role
