Landscape Designer

We take pride in our innovative designs and commitment to sustainable practices. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and creative landscape designer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will collaborate with our Landscape Architect to develop unique landscape designs that meet the aesthetic and functional needs of our clients. You will primarily work on residential projects, ranging from small urban gardens to expansive suburban estates. Responsibilities: ● Assist in the creation of conceptual designs, renderings, and presentations for client approval. ● Develop detailed landscape plans including site analysis, planting plans, hardscape elements and details. ● Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other specialists to ensure project feasibility and compliance with local regulations. ● Provide guidance and support during the implementation phase to ensure designs are executed as planned. ● Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and techniques in landscape architecture. Requirements: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field. ● Proven experience in residential landscape design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. ● Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software. ● Strong understanding of plant materials, hardscape materials, and construction techniques. ● Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. Preferred Qualifications: ● Professional licensure or eligibility to become licensed. ● Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software. ● Knowledge of local UDOs, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and sustainable design practices.
